She's a nice lady - especially when she's drunk. |
notmoreflippingelves asked: "But with Lewis and TTOI done, where am I going to get my Rebecca Front fix? :( " It is indeed very sad, but remember she made that Spa show this summer too (not sure when it did/is supposed to air), and she mentioned filming something new on twitter recently. So, there will be that. And there's talk that they might do some one-off Lewis specials in the future (rather than whole new seasons). I doubt she is going to disappear. We shall all just have to wait and watch.
I know, but I am still sad.
notmoreflippingelves asked: Lewis :D
1. The first character I first fell in love with - Jean Innocent. Let’s face it, I started watching it because after Nicola Murray, I wanted to see EVERYTHING Rebecca was in EVER. And then they put Rebecca in that green gown in the first episode. And <3.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now - Everyone else. I was really just going to watch for Rebecca and then I loved the whole team.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t - Uh, nobody.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates - I get the feeling that Innocent is the least loved of the four but more because people forget about her than any hatred of her.
5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer - None. Once again, this is a happy show.
6. The character I would totally smooch - Hathaway. :D Because of reasons.
7. The character I’d want to be like - All of them. If I had to pick one, though, I’d probably pick *gasp* Laura Hobson. Mostly because I love her ability to snark around dead bodies.
8. The character I’d slap - I’d like to smack Lewis sometimes and tell him that Laura Hobson isn’t going to wait around forever.
9. A pairing that I love - Lewis/Hobson makes my heart say AWWWWWWW. And if it’s written well, I totally will read Innocent/Hobson. And if one of the actors I’ve decided is OK to play Mr. Innocent plays him, Innocent/Mr. Innocent.
10. A pairing that I despise - I possess an inability to ship the most popular pairing in fandom. Which means I don’t get Lewis/Hathaway. I don’t despise it. I think it reflects my inability to deal with fandom when it wants to erase the female characters, which I can’t say if Lewis fandom does but I’ve had run ins with other m/m dominated fandoms where that was the case and so I tend to shy away.
notmoreflippingelves asked: Parks and Recreation :D
1. The first character I first fell in love with - LESLIE KNOPE. She fangirls ladies with institutional power. JUST LIKE ME. (Which is why I might explode when Leslie meets Olympia Snowe. Because I fangirl Olympia Snowe so much.) She’s also incredibly competent and passionate about what she does.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now - April and Andy. Andy was kind of an asshole the first season and April was so deadpan and bored. And now, I love both of them so much.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t - Ben Wyatt. It’s not that I hate him, it’s more that I could live without him? He has his usefulness though.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates - People hate people on Parks and Rec? I refuse to believe this.
5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer - I feel like the more I watch, the more I love everyone in their own way. It’s my happy fluffy place where I forget stuff I don’t like.
6. The character I would totally smooch - EVERYONE. I just love everyone so much. If I had to pick one, I’d pick Chris because he’d probably tell me that I gave him literally the best kiss of his life. Or at least of the day.
7. The character I’d want to be like - Leslie Knope. Competent and fun-loving and an amazing friend.
8. The character I’d slap - The Eagleton Parks and Rec lady. BOO.
9. A pairing that I love - April/Andy. I just love them so much and I envy their ability not need major long term plans but just go day to day.
10. A pairing that I despise - Ann/Tom. That’s just wrong, bad, make it stop. D: D: D: D:
Actually now that I think about it, I can see him more as a James Murray. But still Hugh must be having an awesome day with his Emmy nod and the flattery of being crushed on by Rebecca :P
WINNER!!!! :D
notmoreflippingelves asked: When fandoms collide... I don't know if you saw, but Rebecca Front just confessed via twitter that she used to have a crush on Hugh Bonneville from Downton Abbey. I actually squeed a little, and he has now joined the list of acceptable Mr Innocents. Though Anthony Head will always be top choice :)
Ha ha! I did not see that. Although, after Robert Crawley’s series of manpain, he might be tainted. But I’m guessing Jean Innocent wouldn’t tolerate much manpain. ;)
